Villa Manin

The last Doge of Venice, Ludovico Manin, built this beautiful villa according to the concept of Palladio, who wanted to combine the architecture and the surrounding environment.

After the fall of Venice, the Villa was used as headquarters by Napoleon. Today into the villa are organized art exhibitions of famous painters, events and concerts. In one part of the villa there is also an important regional center for the cataloging of the cultural and environmental heritage of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
